The Painted House

The design of the house is based around painting done by the clients grandfather. A carefully chosen palette of materials and colours gives the house a painterly and textured quality.

A main new exposed concrete frame is cast to the rear of the house and infilled with white washed timber beams.  Rooflights span the extent of the new extension, casting shadows playfully along softly coloured surfaces. A new spray finished MDF kitchen is installed and the existing house fully redecorated, including new fitted joinery units and bathrooms.
