Eastlake

The brief was for a study, spare room and storage for a growing family, where an extension to their flat was prohibitively complex. The design by Turner Architects celebrates and values the small rooms foundations by using the permanence of concrete to create a sense of solidity. A large rooflight over the main room, helps to expand the sense of space and flood the space with natural light.
